As the inaugural writer-in-residence at Weeksville Heritage Center, Zetta Elliot hosted a private salon entitled A Woman’s Place Is in the Home, in the 1930s historic house. The salon invited select women artists, intellectuals, and activists to join in conversation and have their portrait taken attired in clothes from the 1920s, 30s, or 40s.
